Meet Coach Phil
Co-Founder and Head Trainer
Phil is an experienced and certified personal trainer and gym instructor at Phase One.
With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Phil leads Phase One with proven expertise and a passion for performance. A certified personal trainer (Cert III & IV in Fitness, First Aid & CPR), Phil brings a deep background in one-on-one coaching, small group training, and class instruction.
His resume includes roles as Head Trainer, Australian Defence Force Fitness Trainer, and Sports Coach across rugby and basketball. Known for his results-driven approach and commitment to client success, Phil delivers tailored programming that gets real, lasting results — whether you're chasing a personal best or just getting started.
Phil understands the importance of a personalised approach and tailors his clients’ training programs to their individual needs. He takes the time to get to know each of his clients and thoroughly assesses their fitness goals and capabilities. He then develops a plan of action for each client to ensure that they reach their desired goals.
